Welcome to the new Ellenwhorne Equestrian Centre blog, providing a look into the behind-the-scenes and day-to-day happenings of EEC. This is a separate affair from the official EEC website, and also from the White Horse Stables Rescue website.
Ellenwhorne is a BHS approved, family-run affair, with a helping hand coming from 3 generations, set in the outstanding natural beauty of the East Sussex/Kent border. Our horses range from the 10hh shetlands, Sooty and Ralph, all the way up to La Figaro who towers above 17hh! They range from bomb-proof and calm enough for the safest beginner, as well as the more forward-going ones for the advanced riders.
All proceeds from Ellenwhorne Equestrian Centre go to our 'sister stable' White Horse Stables, who rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused or abandoned equines. You can find out more about WHS, adopting or sponsoring a rescue, or donating here.
