Facilities

Here at Ellenwhone, we pride ourselves on giving our horses the best chances to improve your riding and help your learning. We feel the need to keep their work varied and interesting, to keep them happy and well.

We have a floodlit, indoor arena onsite which is light, well ventilated, and home to a supply of poly-jumps, whose surface is maintained everyday. The surface is a sand/rubber mix, giving it a even, well drained quality, and keeps it easy on the horses' hooves (and on humans too!). It creates a general-purpose surface for flat-work, pole-work, and jumping.

Also onsite, we have a 5-horse walker, several cross country jumps, and a large selection of turnout fields which allow for rotation and letting some lie fallow.

During the dryer months, there is access to the jumping paddock, equip with a whole course of jumps in a variety of styles, and the full-sized dressage arena out on the grass.
